Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 3:23AM Teaser Trailer for 'Eastbound and Down' Season 3
Everyone's favorite baseball player, with the trademark mullet will return for a third season of HBO's Eastbound and Down in January. This season former Major League bad boy Kenny Powers (Danny McBride) will be taking his talents and his amigo Stevie Janowski (Steve Little) to Myrtle Beach.
Kenny, having rediscovered his 100 mph pitch in Mexico with the Charros will try to reach the majors once again, this time in a try out for a minor league team in Myrtle Beach. McBride will welcome SNL and Horrible Bosses star Jason Sudeikis to the show this season, who'll reportedly play Kenny's new friend this season. Uh oh, Stevie isn't gonna like having competition as Kenny's wingman.
Kenny Powers is Danny McBride at his funniest, so check out the first two seasons if you're unfamiliar with the show.
I haven't seen a firm return date for Eastbound and Down, but other sources suggest late January is the most likely time.
