'One For The Money' Trailer Looks Like An Over Budgeted Lifetime Movie

You may have read the title and thought that my opinion for One For The Money was that it looks completely horrible. Well, there are some pretty good Lifetime movies. But this Katherine Heigl film, which is sort of like The Bounty Hunter from a womans perspective, was decent enough for me to sit through the whole trailer.

Now I see why she still gets movies.

One For The Money is based on the Janet Evanovich novel of the same name. The novel (and film) is set around Stephanie Plum, an out-of-work lingerie buyer who desperatley needs cash and looks to her cousin Vinnie, a bailbondsman, for a job. But Vinnie's assistant informs her the job is taken but tells her that she could apprehend clients who skipped out on payments, beginning with Joe Morelli, who's wanted for murder one and was also sexually involved with Plum.

I thought I was going to hate this film because of the stinkers left by Heigl before this, but I can honestly say that this doesn't look half bad. That's not nessecarily a complement. I'd probably watch this movie in about three or four years when TBS broadcasts it before Conan.

This future [Razzie] award winner stars Katherine Heigl, Daniel Sunjata, Jason O'Mara, Debbie Reynolds, Patrick Fischler, Sherri Shepherd, John Leguizamo and is directed by Julie Anne Robinson (The Last Song).
