"Yo, lemme get a hit of that soy sauce."From the director of cult classic Bubba Ho-Tep comes the psychological horror film John Dies at the End. The new movie written and helmed by Don Coscarelli centers on the ill side effects/out-of-body experience caused by a street drug known as "soy sauce". Each hit of this vile drug unearths a mind-f*cking or bad trip of epic proportions for the user. Don't believe me, watch the trailer below.
Some of the users of this "soy sauce" never come back or don't return human. Our heroes, a pair of college dropouts, John and David (Chase Williamson) must save the world from this invasion of creatures from another world much different than our own.
Paul Giamatti is the most recognizable star in John Dies at the End. The opening to the trailer is pretty trippy, but not nearly as much as what follows it.
John Dies at the End will be out in 2012. Theatrical release? That's hard to say.
