Set Pics of Kristen Stewart in 'Snow White and The Huntsman'

Snow White and the Huntsman is one of the two rivaling Snow White big screen adaptations coming next year. New set photos of Twilight star Kristen Stewart as Snow White have hit the web courtesy of Pop Sugar, and you can check them out here. The pics were intially made available to guests at the last San Diego Comic Con.

The movie is being directed by Rupert Sanders marking his feature film debut, and is due in theaters on June 1, 2012. Tarsem Singh's still Untitled Snow White project will come out three months earlier on March 16, 2012, so expect the feud to continue until then.

Here's the IMDB snyopsis of Snow White and the Huntsman: In a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanguish the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron).

The pics of Stewart from the set make the film appear much more dark and hardcore than I was expecting. Her attire (armor) suggests more warrior than princess to me.
