Ryan Gosling & Josh Brolin Set Pics from 'Gangster Squad'

Gangster Squad TrioRuben Fleischer (30 Minutes or Less, Zombieland) is currently shooting his next film The Gangster Squad.   Today we've got the second round of set photos featuring the squad of L.A. cops in pursuit of notorious gangster Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn), played by Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin and Anthony Mackie respectively.

Gangster Squad is based on the chronicles during the 1940s and 50s of LAPD mission to keep East Coast mafiosos out of their city, Cohen being the ring leader or big fish.  

It's evident this tale takes place during the 1940s with the suits we see Gosling wearing, and the car he's driving.  As we all know now, Gosling was born to Drive (Plug for a great movie).

The Gangster Squad unites!

I've been following this movie for awhile, love me some gangster flicks.  Plus, having a talented director and formidable cast is a huge bonus.  Gangster Squad, currently in production will come our way around 2013.  GTBP will keep you in the loop with all the updates.
