Plenty of rumors have swirled since The Dark Knight Rises started production a few months ago. There was the speculation of Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard) being Talia el Ghul (not sure I spelled that right) being the most recent rumor mill fodder. Today we have a new juicy bit of gossip to chew on, courtesy of ComicBookMovie.

There have been alleged sightings of the Scarecrow/Dr. Crane (Cillian Murphy) on Christopher Nolan's set, which could mean the villain from Batman Begins could return. His appearance could prove to be just a cameo, but there have been enough witness accounts to assume the Scarecrow is guaranteed to a scene in the third and final Batman installment.
Unfortunately, we don't know the extent of his role in the movie, and maybe that's a good thing. I'd like there to be a few surprises when the movie finally opens on July 20, 2012.
