Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 8:15PM Marion Cotillard Says Her 'Dark Knight Rises' Role Isn't from the Comics?
The lovely Marion Cotillard with some other peopleMore rumors/news from the wide world of Batman, as Marion Cotillard claims her character, Miranda Tate (or assumed villain Talia al Ghul) in The Dark Knight Rises isn't from the pages of comic. MTV interviewed, Cotillard at the premiere of Steven Soderbergh's Contagion and asked about her character in the third and final Batman film, and the rumors involving the alleged Miranda Tate alias cover for Talia al Ghul.
Here's what she had to say.
"Well, actually, it was not based off of a character in the comic," Cotillard said.
When the MTV personality asked her if she was telling the truth, she replied, "Yes I am."
Luckily, we have the clip of this brief interview below, and the general consensus is she told a white lie. Cotillard is either being honest or just has a really beautiful and convincing poker face. I'll go with the latter. See for yourselves.

I actually haven't heard of Talia al Ghul from the comics or I probably might've missed that chapter. So, I looked up for her and found this from Wiki, "Talia al Ghul is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe, the now-estranged daughter of the supervillain Ra's al Ghul, a love interest of Batman, and the mother of his son Damian Wayne, the fifth Robin." Does this mean that Batman will soon be having a son!?
Thanks for info
