Chuck Norris Forces a PG-13 'Expendables 2'?

Look, Sylvester Stallone is wearing out his welcome with the 80s action star amongst an action packed, no holds-barred action film.  Bigger guns, faster punches and more nostalgia is what he’s going for and the cast certainly helps.  Only that there’s one thing stopping the film from its own excess: Chuck Norris. As if the lore and puns involving Norris being unbeatable, the guy is certainly putting a stop to the extreme violence and language in The Expendables 2.

Here’s what he said:

"In 'Expendables 2,' there was a lot of vulgar dialogue in the screenplay. For this reason, many young people wouldn't be able to watch this," Norris said to Polish newspaper Gazeta. "I don't star in movies like this. Because of that I said I won't be a part of that if the vulgar language is not removed. Producers accepted my conditions and the movie will be rated PG-13."

Chuck Norris did an interview with Polish website Gazeta, describing the condition in signing the contract for The Expendables 2, it must receive a PG-13 rating.  Considering the first film received an R-rating and did well at the box-office, toning down the film to PG-13 (obviously expanding to a bigger market and therefore a bigger box-office) would be doing a disservice to the “quality” of the film.

Well for one thing Chuck Norris is full of shit! His last movie "2005's The Cutter" was rated R, along with most of his movies from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. If you watch the Hitman he drops the F bomb a few times. To say he has never done these movies in the past is a flat out lie. You dont make a great sequal by toning it down from the original. The sequal is suppose to be ten times more of everything from the original. If Ex 2 is rated PG-13 it won't be getting my money. Chuck wants PG-13 for the kids....well this isnt a f*ckn kids movie. Its for us adults who miss the hay day of good solid R action movies. Really lost alot of respect for Chuck!
