Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 7:33AM New Clip: 'The Vow' Starring Rachel McAdams & Channing Tatum

No seriously, Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum are trying to fall in love… again! Based on an original screenplay by Jason Katims, Abby Kohn, Stuart Sender, Marc Silverstein and directed by Michael Sucsy, The Vow is here to fill your sobbing needs. Cue tender music, water eyes and constantly sniffles, the newest clip from the film is sure to make any heart of stone bleed.
Honestly, I think its trailer displays everything you can expect of the film and the clip above just proves it in more detail. Not that the film is itching to be on my “to watch” list, nothing with Tatum will ever be on that list, and I think we’ve all had enough of McAdams sob-stories in The Notebook and The Time Traveller’s Wife.
Here’s a quick synopsis:
The Vow is about a recently married couple that is involved in a serious car accident. Though Leo (Tatum is fine, Paige (McAdams) suffers from brain damage that has resulted in complete memory loss. With all of the Paige’s memories of him gone, Leo begins to try and convince her of why they fell in love in the first place.
The Vow also stars Jessica Lange, Sam Neill and Scott Speedman. It's directed by Michael Sucsy (HBO’s Grey Gardens) and will be released 10 February 2012.
