Friday, January 27, 2012 at 6:19PM Fearless Forecast: People See 'Grey' At This Weeks Box-Office
This bleeds total bad assery
Call it Liam Neeson fever but it seems if there's a Liam Neeson film released in January the people will see it. For the past two or three years Neeson had fought human traffickers, assassins, and now he'll fight wolves...Freaking awesome. So it's no secret that The Grey will win this weekends box office with about $19.2 million.
No matter how many people dislike Kathrine Heigl films she still manages to book gigs in films that 99.9% of men won't even see (my apologies if that sentence seemed a bit misogynistic). One For The Money is the latest shit movie from the Heigl hottie, which will earn about $15.7 million purely from the women pushing their husbands or boyfriends into seeing it.

Last week, Underworld 4 earned the top spot at the box office but this week it will have to take a back seat to the two films aforementioned. I expect Underworld: Awakening to follow in the footsteps of the first Underworld and drop by at least 50% this week earning $12.4 million.

Man on a Ledge, the latest ensemble film starring Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks will place fourth with $9 million. This film, along with The Grey really piques my interests.

Lastly, Contraband loses steam and places fifth with $6 million after a falling pace since its release three weeks ago.
The Top Five:
1. The Grey $19.2 M
2. One For The Money $15.7 M
3. Underworld: Awakening $12.4 M
4. Man On A Ledge $9 M
5. Contraband $6 M
