Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 6:24PM Smith Dishes On His Last Film 'Hit Somebody'
The man you love to hate or the man you hate to love.
Either you love him or you hate him, Kevin Smith is a talented writer and director. He has a great ear for frank dialog and an eye for detail. Maybe his last couple films were inferior to the rest of his portfolio, but he has done some great films: Chasing Amy, Dogma, Clerks, and Clerks 2 come to mind (I think so, anyway). Kevin Smith has announced via Twitter about the details of his last film.
Smith states that Hit Somebody will be one 'big' film instead of a two-parter as he previously stated. Smith went on to reply to his fans about the news of Hit Somebody.

A 150 minute hockey film? I don't know if I could sit for 150 minutes watching a sports film; I'm not a sports type of guy, anyway. Hit Somebody will be his last film but he has stated that he is willing to try other directing projects, whatever that means. I want to want to be excited for this film but my feeling towards the project is neutral. What do you guys think? Hit Somebody will debut in Sundance next year.
