Viral 'Chronicle' Promotion is Pretty Fly

Crushing cars is cool, but it's got nothing on flying...

The next super hero/individuals with special abilities feature film comes out tomorrow.  Of course, I'm talking about none other than Chronicle (be sure to check out our review tomorrow), which stars three teenagers who stumble into gaining extraordinary powers and mostly use them towards messing with the unsuspecting folks around them.  However, they also use these special gifts for more worthwhile pursuits like crushing cars and more importantly flying. 

Speaking of the characters flying, which I don't recall seeing in the trailers, a viral video was released earlier of RC controlled human-shaped planes flying around NYC to emulate the flying we'll soon see in Chronicle and it's pretty damn cool.  

 The video successfully whets my appetite to see this film even more so, especially since I had no idea our three young protagonists could fly.  Will it be as cool in the movie itself?  I also enjoy any excuse to listen to a solid dub step soundtrack.  

From what the theatrical trailer below shows, two of the three high school buddies stay on the straighten path with these mysterious abilities while the other becomes a power hungry monster.  I can't wait to see this and will get the chance soon.  Chronicle flies into theaters tomorrow, Friday the 3rd.
