Hey everybody, Colin is back!
I don't know many people who saw Martin McDonagh's In Bruges in theaters, though everyone who did see it on DVD or what have you absolutely raved about it. Now there's more of that good thing headed our way, as McDonagh and Colin Farrell meet up again for the new comedy Seven Psychopaths, and GTBP has the first new images to share with you courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. My gut feeling: this is gonna be a good one.
Seven Psychopaths is the story of a wannabe screenwriter (Farrell) who gets his inspiration for his script, Seven Psychopaths from a couple of dog kidnapping buddies (Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken) that grab the wrong mans prized pooch, a local gangster played by Woody Harrelson. Harrelson replaced the great Mickey Rourke when the latter allegedly got into an verbal disagreement with the director and left the project. His loss.
A pair of lovelies in Abbie Cornish (Sucker Punch) and former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko serve as the eye candy in this potentially great dark comedy, which I can't wait to see a trailer for.
Now we get our first look at Farrell and Rockwell, followed by a pic of Farrell apparently getting caught by Harrelson.

I don't know why but Rockwell's shirt cracks me up here.

Seven Psychopaths easily makes my "must see" list of 2012, though no concrete release date is known at this time. People may not have made the trip to theaters for In Bruges, but due to its huge cult following years after, they won't make the same mistake again with this one.
