First Pic of Aaron Eckhart from 'I, Frankenstein' Screams Hobo

Eckhart & Frankenstein separated at birth?

Hey kudos to pro photographer Pablo Hassan for snapping a pic of Aaron Eckhart in full make-up and wardrobe on the set of the new film I, Frankenstein from director Stuart Beattie.  This newest comic book turned major motion picture has Harvey Dent/Two-Face himself stepping in as Adam, the titular character in this modern day Frankenstein tale that puts our monstrous friend in an awkward situation, a centuries old war between two feuding clans of immortals.

Despite this story coming from the pages of Kevin Grevioux's comic, Eckhart told Comingsoon.net recently he was going to tap into Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" in order to build his character here.  Whatever works...

Check out the first pic below of Eckhart bringing out his inner hobo along with duds he's wearing as Adam.  It's not easy to make out all the gruesome makeup he's wearing, but rest assured he's no longer handsome.

The film is currently shooting on location in Victoria, Australia and has been pegged for a February 22, 2013 release.  We hope to get more info and images to share from this film adaptation in the near future.

Let's hope Eckhart's film is better than recent, less known comic titles turned big screen adventures in Jonah Hex and Cowboys & Aliens.
