One of the most dire decisions a film goer can make this summer is the choice to see the concert film/hard-hitting documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me or the chilling sci-fi epic Prometheus. Fortunately, you may be able to have the best of both worlds! As wild as it sounds, we may be seeing Katy Perry and Ridley Scott in the same sentence soon. In other news, Yo-Yo Ma will be guest starring on the new Insane Clown Posse masterpiece.
Back to the real news, Katy Perry is apparently a fan of Blade Runer and would love to star in a sequel. I always knew that there was something about Katy that separated her from some of the other pop queens of the day. A good taste in film is always a great thing. The question of whether or not director Ridley Scott would cast the singer in his planned sequel of Blade Runner is still uncertain, of course. Her acting accolades are sparse, but there could be a lot of ability hidden away, and Ridley Scott could be the director to find it.
The unlikely collaboration could spark some fireworks. Ridley Scott is a master of his craft, while California girl Katy kissed a girl and reportedly liked it, which shows she can be a fearless performer. Hopefully no feuding occurs on set, otherwise things could become pretty hot and cold. This film could become more successful than E.T. or T.G.I.F. on ABC. I deeply apologize for those piss-poor puns and that one really obscure reference. I simply couldn't resist.

I like Katy Perry, but I cannot imagine her in a movie. In an episode in How I Met Your Mother she confirmed, that she better sings than acts.
