'World War Z' Superbowl Trailer Makes You Wonder What They Aren't Showing Us

This might just be the audience reaction on June 21Most of the news that has come to us about the upcoming Brad Pitt zombie epic World War Z has been negative.  Script troubles, reshoots, going horribly over-budget, feuds between the lead actor and director Marc Forster... If we could add environmental problems to the mix, it'd have the troubled production full house.  The previews, on the other hand, have been pretty strong.  If nothing else, the whole thing looks nice.  The studio has released the Superbowl spot a few days early, and looks as good as before.

I try my best not to be a fatalist when it comes to movies, and while the behind the scenes friction makes me suspicious of its overall quality, this may be one time where the odds are beaten, and all the blood, sweat, and tears that went into this movie will make a real blockbuster.
