With all of the talk about what impact the Disney/Star Wars buyout would have on the movies, there doesn't seem to have been much chatter about what the impact would be on the marketing side. Probably because everyone knew that Disney would merchandise the hell out of that galaxy far, far away. There's a new side to it that I certainly didn't hear predicted, though: Disney is now considering a Star Wars land at Disneyland.
There's nothing concrete yet (and if there was it would take forever for the land to see the light of day), but Disney recently sent a survey around to their annual pass holders:
