The Burgundy Legend Continues. With a Trailer.

I was not among the lucky ones to catch the splendor of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy in theaters. I think I stumbled upon it on TBS. But when watched from beginning to end, no commercials or editing for content and time, I was a convert and singing "Afternoon Delight" a capella with friends.

Now 10 years after "go fuck yourself San Diego" the story, the inappropriate jokes and the legend himself...continues.

The official trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues is here! Reuniting the original cast (including Christina Applegate) and bringing on new players - WHY did I have to see Meagan Good - the best news foursome ever blazes the trail to 24-hour broadcasting while sporting cotton/poly blends in the 80's.

No punches are pulled and no ethnic group is left unscathed in this decently funny trailer:

There are things to look forward to (Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Jheri Curls), but I'm afraid the same formula as Anchorman is used. That segues into memories of The Hangover 1 and 2; using the same damn storyline again. Clearly repetition is inescapable in this comedic sequel game.

So long as I get to watch Will Ferrell be amusing and David Koechner be a misogynist, I'll buy a ticket.
