Aaron Eckhart is a Monster in 'I, Frankenstein'

Eckhart has experience playing a monsterIn the newest re-telling of a classic masterpiece, Aaron Eckhart will play Frankenstein in the Lionsgate produced I, Frankenstein, JoBlo reported earlier today.  In the modern day tale, Eckhart will play Adam Frankenstein, the classic monster who has survived despite genetic defect.  He struggles to survive in a "dark, gothic metropolis."

Producer Kevin Grevioux says, it will "make [Frankenstein] more of a cool action hero."

The First Trailer for Hunter S. Thompson's 'The Rum Diary' is Here!

I've anticipated the arrival of the next movie adaptation from the novels a.k.a the bizarre mind of the late Hunter S. Thompson for years now.  The Rum Diary stars former Thompson pal and the actor who portrayed him perfectly in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Johnny Depp.  The first trailer for The Rum Diary is here thanks to ET Online, and it looks like a hilariously fun/chaotic 110 minutes at the theater.

Two-Face Coming Back To 'The Dark Knight Rises'?

How would this be possible?  Last time we saw Two-Face, he was tackled by Batman and thrown off a side of the building.  There is no way he survived the fall.  But I guess as comic books go, they always find a way to bring back popular characters.

In an interview with CBS for his newest film, Battle: LA, Aaron Eckhart was asked the question whether he would play the role of Harvey Dent again in the sequel.  Here's what he had to say:

New Poster and Viral Video for 'Battle: Los Angeles'

My thoughts about the new Black-Hawk-Down-esque sci-fi flick Battle: Los Angeles have been a bit like a roller coaster.  When I first heard about the project, I was still on a District 9 high and was ecstatic about its possibilities.  Then, I saw the film's teaser trailer and was sorely disappointed.  But somehow, after multiple viewings, that same teaser ended up on my Best Trailers of 2010 list.  And then down my thoughts went again as the second trailer was released, rehashing most of the same imagery and music as the teaser.  But now, the new action packed TV spots and marketing material plastered all over LA have me excited once again for this film's release next month.

Yesterday, Sony debuted a new one sheet and viral video for Battle: Los Angeles that have only added to my excitement.  Check 'em out below.

Movie Review: 'Rabbit Hole'

Rabbit Hole Starring Nicole Kidman, Aaron Eckhart Directed by John Cameron Mitchell Rated PG-13

What do you, as a parent, do if your child dies? Director John Cameron Mitchell and writer David Lindsay-Abaire have done more than ask this question in Rabbit Hole. This question is impossible enough to answer; if you have children of any age, it's something you don't even want to imagine. If you don't have children, it's something you can't truly comprehend. No, these men take it a step further, and ask this question on top of the previous one: How do you continue on with your life after the death of your child?

Becca Corbett (Nicole Kidman) and her husband Howie (Aaron Eckhart) are searching for an answer to that question. They lost their four year old son, Danny, in a car accident. Eight months after this tragedy, we're inserted into their lives.

Howie attempts to find comfort in a support group. He is especially drawn to Gaby (Sandra Oh), who lost her child eight years earlier. He tries to go on with his life, continuing to work and keep up a social life. At night, he watches old videos of his son that he took on his phone, and clings tightly to the memory of his child.
