Angelina Jolie Will Be 'Maleficent' For Disney

At a news conference Saturday at the Berlin International Festival, Angelina Jolie pretty much confirmed that she would be while promoting her feature directorial debut In the Land of Blood and Honey.  Recent speculation said Jolie had been circling to play Maleficent for Disney.  Jolie said: “"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this [Land of Blood and Honey].  The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie,".

Eric Roth May Be Penning Angelina Jolie's 'Cleopatra'

So it begins with a writer.  Eric Roth is apparently in early discussions to work on a script of Cleopatra that Angelina Jolie has been attached to star for quite some time as the titular role as the last Ancient Egyptian pharaoh.  Not only that, but the picture may have also found its possible director.

Possibly reteaming with producer Scott Rudin at Sony Pictures, Eric Roth has been asked to write an adaptation, that even director David Fincher is "circling the pic, which Brian Helgeland initially adapted from Stacy Schiff's bestselling book "Cleopatra: A Life."

Development Starts on 'Salt 2'

Surprise hit of 2010, Salt, got the green light for a sequel and development is quickly underway.  Kurt Wimmer, who was the writer for the original script will also be penning the sequel and has gotten started on the story about CIA officer Evelyn Salt.  Although it isn't official, Angelina Jolie will likely reprise her starring role in the film.
