'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Update: New Slew Of Rumors And Info

Looking back, it feels a bit strange that Disney and co. has chosen to reveal so much about the sequel to the Avengers.  The only things we found out about the first one were things that we knew were going to be included from previous films.  Granted, that's mostly all there was, but the Chittari were kept in the dark until the very end.  That's certainly not the case with Age of Ultron, in which the as-of-yet unseen villain is name-dropped.  There's quite a bit else that has been revealed.

Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Reveals Its Identity In New Trailer

Nevermind Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant ManAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D. represents the real creative risk for Marvel, in my opinion.  We have a franchise dominated by larger-than-life characters and superhero mascots, yet we're getting a TV show that probably won't make use of them (You think Robert Downey Jr. will work on a TV actors' budget?).  Even with Joss Whedon's TV writing skills, that's a difficult thing to be confident about.  The first trailer has been released, now, though, and we see a familiar face.

Don't Have $150 To Spend? See Some Of 'The Avengers' Box Set Special Features Here!

To some degree I love nearly all of the Avengers Phase I movies, but love can only take you so far, and 150 big ones is more than I'm willing to pay for a souped up box-set of movies that I already mostly own.  You can be sure they jam-packed the thing with special features, though, and that's the main reason to buy DVDs nowadays.  One of those special features, a brief introduction to what they plan on doing with Phase II, has been posted online for you to see for free.
