So there's this trailer for this movie coming out, called Prometheus. Never heard of it? Well, it's a prequel to the 1979 film, Alien. It looks pretty awesome and stars Noomi Rapace, Logan Marshall-Green, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Wilson, Idris Elba, and Charlize Theron and is directed by none other than Ridley Scott himself. Nothing has come easy for George’s Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, but perhaps there is a silver lining in all those dark clouds above the land-down-under. Wars, the stock market, man and Mother Nature have all conspired against Miller from making any new Max movies up until now, filming is “now” slated to begin on Fury Road this upcoming April in the country of Namibia. Tom Hardy (Inception) and Charlize Theron (Monster) are still set to headline the return of Max Rockatansky and his dystopian Australian landscape.

Boy and girls, gather round. We have an interesting story to tell, it's one about mysteries of the universe and its told by Ridley Scott. You know the guy behind Alien, Blade Runner and the many other movies he's done since. Prometheus is his return to science-fiction and boy does it look grand.
Apologies to anyone turned off by that story-time session, but all this news about Prometheus (a supposed prequel/timeline-sharing to Alien) seemed like a fairytale until we got some set photos of the cast and now a bootlegged trailer of the film.

Fairy tales and their numerous retellings are always popular so it is no surprise that not one, but two fairy tale movies relating to the legend of Snow White will release in 2012.
Snow White and the Huntsman is directed by Rupert Sanders with Twilight superstar Kristen Stewart playing the role of the fairest of them all, Snow White, and superhero Thor star Chris Hemsworth playing the Huntsman. Charlize Theron plays the evil Queen wanting to destroy Snow White and Sam Clafin plays the Prince.

The director and writer behind Juno, Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody have brought us the new comedy Young Adult starring Charlize Theron (love her) as a Paris Hilton-esque fiction writer, who refuses to grow up. After her character, Mavis Gary gets divorced she moves back to her small hometown in Minnesota, and attempts to rekindle with an old flame (Patrick Wilson). Only problem is her ex-boyfriend is now happily married with a child on the way, but she still pursues him anyway.
