Found-Footage Horror Movie 'V/H/S' Causes Man to Faint?

Certainly there have been unsettling and horrific movie moments that have resulted in many of us damn near blowing chunks or passing out.  Maybe the Saw franchise left you nauseous.  For me, recently opting to spend money on Steven Soderbergh's Haywire created an uneasy feeling in stomach.

For one movie goer attending a screening at Sundance of the new found footage horror film V/H/S was enough to cause him to faint, according to Deadline.  Apparently, the man felt extremely unnerved by a scene early in the movie that was "particularly gruesome."

Must See Zombie Film Of The Year

On 20 October the Toronto After Dark film festival gets underway.  The lineup looks to be quite fun, but as I watched the trailers two of them stuck out like sore thumbs:  Some Guy Who Kills People and the world premiere of War of the Dead.

Some Guy Who Kills People is a dark comedy starring the far too underrated Kevin Corrigan as a down trodden man that has been pushed one too many times and decides to take matters into his own hands with what looks like a variety of edged weapons.

It's kind of expected to get a question like "What scares you?" when a horror film premieres. The difference this time the question remains valid when asking Guillermo del Toro, director of many horror-infused feature films, and Katie Holmes who's starring in one of del Toro's highly anticipated horror film Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.

It was said that "Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were so afraid after screening her new film Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, they had to watch another movie before going to bed."
