'Jackass 3D' Review - Better Late than Never

Jackass 3D Starring Johnny Knoxville, Bam Magera, Steve-O, Jason Acuna Directed by Jeff Tremaine Rated R

My first thought, after watching this movie, was "This is a terrible movie to watch right before eating lunch." My second thought was, "How in the world do I write a review about it?" It's not a traditional movie, with a plot and actors playing their roles. It's about a bunch of guys hitting each other in the crotch and having fun on camera.

To start, it was nice seeing Beavis and Butthead on any screen again, even if for only a few minutes. I grew up watching them, and it felt a bit nostalgic seeing those two idiots. However, they get about two minutes of film time, and we immediately jump into Jackass 3D.

If you're at all familar with the Jackass boys, you know they do some pretty dumb stuff. Some of it is fairly clean, and just looks stupid and painful. Some of it is downright gross. And some of it makes you sick.

'Jackass 3D and a 1/3, The Smell of Johnny'

Okay, so that's not really the title. But wouldn't it be awesome if it was? I mean, we have 3D, when's the smell experience going to come into play? I'm putting way too much thought into this, and it's making me ill. Moving on.

But don't be surprised if there's a soon announced Jackass 3D sequel, and one that will be in theaters sooner rather than later.

'Beavis and Butthead' on the Big Screen Again

"Uh...huhhuhhuhhuh...Can you see my guns in 3-D?"

Back in the '90s when MTV was still kind of showing music videos, the animated series 'Beavis and Butthead' was all the rage in my high school.  It inspired us to call each other fart knockers, while introducing us to the Great Cornholio and the phrase "kick me in the jimmy". 

'Beavis and Butthead' creator Mike Judge has plans to bring the popular pair of moronic teenage rockers back to the theaters this Friday, October 15th as an animated 3-D introduction to the movie 'Jackass 3-D' , according to slashfilm.com.  For those of us who have been longing for the return of the hilarious cartoon we only have to wait another four days. 

It was also revealed in July, that 'Beavis and Butthead' will be back on the air courtesy of our friends at MTV, which may have finally realized that certain age demographics don't like to watch reality shows about spoiled teenagers living in mansions or whatever the case may

New 'Jackass 3-D' Poster Series

As you probably already know, the Jackass series is also getting caught up in the 3D craze and on October 15th, fans will be able to see Johnny Knoxville act like a jackass once again.

New posters for the film were released today which show four screenshots from the movie that will make you say, "holy s#it, I wonder what happens next".

'Jackass 3D' Trailer Exactly What You Expect

What's different about the third Jackass movie? The stupidity is still there, the horrible injuries appear to be in place...so what is it? Oh yeah: It's flying at your face.

Jackass 3D is the next logical step for the series and for the technology, don't you think? Actually, I do. If done correctly, the 3-D could make the stunts even more hard to watch, and that's really the point. For 3-D, here's a low-budget application that doesn't involve science fiction or horror, or at least, not directly. These things are a blast if you can sit through them. I particularly like the high five stunt at the end of the trailer...
