Ralph Fiennes Replaces Major Character in 007's 'Skyfall'?

We know a few things about James Bond's upcoming adventure Skyfall:  Daniel Craig is back as 007, Javier Bardem will play the films centrail villain, the great Sam Mendes is directing and the story will center around M (Judi Dench) as MI6 comes under attack, and Bond must fight to protect the agency.

Now the most recent bit of news, courtesy of Movieweb has revealed the character Ralph Fiennes will play.  Fiennes himself would only say this about his character, "I'm allowed to say that I'm a government agent."

New Bond Website Reveals 'Skyfall' Behind the Scenes Teaser

This November moviegoers will see Daniel Craig and the 23rd 007 adventure in Skyfall.  So it should be exciting to learn there's a brand new website, 007.com dedicated to the next James Bond vehicle, which features a quick, behind-the-scenes clip hosted by producer Michael G. Wilson.  The website is highlighted by a clock counting down the 297 days until Skyfall is released and makes some folks forget about Quantum of Solace.  Honestly, I liked it though it wasn't a great Bond film.

More Bond for Daniel Craig?

This doesn't come as much of a suprise, but the Brit actor is being touted as a possible record-holder for most appearances as Bond in the ongoing franchise.  Daniel Craig is certainly going to be picking up discussions as to whether or not to continue for 5 more films with the franchise, once production completes on the third outing: Skyfall, directed by Sam Mendes.

Hoping to surpass Roger Moore's seven appearances, producer Michael G. Wilson is hoping Craig will enlist for more action packed spy games as James Bond:

Longtime Bond Character "Q" to Return in 'Skyfall'

When the James Bond franchise was revived for Casino Royale, one of the many traditional elements that was chucked out was Q, a character who can best be described as a snooty British version of the Dark Knight Trilogy's Lucius Fox.  Now, according to Ain't it Cool News, fans will be able to see his character once again in the recently announced James Bond flick, Skyfall.  Rather than being the nitpicky old man, however, he will now be portrayed by 30-year-old actor Ben Wishaw.

'James Bond 23' Real Title is 'Skyfall'?

James Bond's 23rd adventure could finally have its official title and it ain't Carte Blanche, as previously reported.  Word is, according to Collider the new title is believed to be Skyfall, which has been showing up on some of Sony's registered URLs (skyfall-themovie.net, jamesbond-skyfall.com).

Carte Blanche made sense as a possible title, considering that's the title of the most recent Bond novel for which this next movie is allegedly based upon.  Whatever title the 007 film ultimately takes, it's not what is going to make the movie good or bad.
