Remember during the summer when Alamo Drafthouse made a particular "anti-texting" video for moviegoers? Well, Patton Oswalt and Jason Reitman certainly do and they've given us a quasi-parody of said video for our enjoyment and consideration. Apparently, both "Reitman and Oswalt made this video while visiting Alamo South Lamar for a sneak screening of Young Adult."

I've been waiting a long while to see Charlize Theron in something funny, not Hancock-funny (which isn't funny), but Arrested Development-funny. "You could always make land. On the ocean." If you can get your hands on the show, you'll understand what hidden comedic chops Charlize has been keeping hidden away. Be prepared to welcome Theron onto the big screen in Jason Reitman's Young Adult with a new one-sheet poster.

Looking to get behind the camera is Diablo Cody and she'll be helming Lamb of God, a script that she wrote for Mandate Pictures. This will be her first time directing after having written a few notable and prolific works.
Here's a quick synopsis:
The comedy follows a young conservative religious woman who loses her faith after a plane crash, decides to go to Las Vegas to live the life of a sinner, and on her journey finds her way back to her faith.

On the surface of the surface, Ryan Bingham's life appears to be exquisitely in order. He tells us during Up in the Air that
he spent over 300 days on the road last year, making it back to his "home" and his office in Omaha for a little over 40 days. And
he's not complaining; he loves things just the way they are.
Bingham (George Clooney) is a corporate downsizing specialist. That's not his official title, but it's a step up from Angel of
Death, which is closer to the truth: Bingham fires people for a living, and he's very good at it.
From his home office, Bingham gets flown around the country - Two days is Albuquerque, then a stop-over in Houston before spending
the rest of the week (and weekend) in Miami. He travels light, he travels efficiently, and man, does he travel. Bingham racks up the
frequent flyer miles and has been on board American Airlines so much, he's within shouting distance of 10 million miles. "More
people have walked on the moan," Ryan crows about his accomplishment-in-waiting.
Two things transpire and conspire against Bingham's life, which we begin to see is more of a pattern of behavior than a life,
anyway. He meets a woman, Alex (Vera Farmiga), who asks Ryan to think of her as a female version of himself. She travels, too,
living in airport hotels and dining in the finest captain's lounges this country has to offer. They hit it off in a glorious scene
of one-upsmanship involving hotel and rental car rewards cards to see who really has the upper hand. "I wasn't sure these existed,"
marvels Alex at Ryan's American Airlines Concierge Key.

Of course, his stories wouldn't benefit from it, anyway, but the writer-director of the Oscar front-runner Up in the Air tells Movie Retriever he's not a fan of even watching movies in 3-D. "First off, I hate 3-D," Reitman admitted. "After about 20-30 minutes, I'm always like, 'Okay. I get it.'"
