New Trailer for Cop Drama 'The Son of No One'

A movie starring Channing Tatum that looks kinda good?  That's a pretty rare feat, but it's possible writer/director Dito Montiel (Fighting) has pulled it off with the new cop drama The Son of No One.  

The story centers on a young cop, Jonathan White (Tatum) who is assigned to a precinct in the same working class neighborhood he grew up in.  Soon after he gets caught up in a department wide scandal that involves a series of unsolved murders.

What Scares 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark's' Katie Holmes and Guillermo del Toro?

It's kind of expected to get a question like "What scares you?" when a horror film premieres. The difference this time the question remains valid when asking Guillermo del Toro, director of many horror-infused feature films, and Katie Holmes who's starring in one of del Toro's highly anticipated horror film Don't Be Afraid of the Dark.

It was said that "Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were so afraid after screening her new film Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, they had to watch another movie before going to bed."

'Jack and Jill' Trailer Makes You Want To Mourn The Loss Of Comedy

If you thought Zookeeper looked bad, I don't think you've seen anything yet.  Jack and Jill, the latest Adam Sandler comedy, is about Jack and his sister Jill who visits him in California and never leaves; both roles are played by Sandler.   

One of my favorite comedies from him was Happy Gilmore.  That was comedy gold -- 90s comedy gold.  His most recent films, such as Grown Ups, Just Go With It, Zohan, and Chuck and Larry were just plain garbage and I still don't know how he's still making movies.  The trailer for this film just reinforces that.

UPDATE: Hellboy 3 and 'Pacific Rim', With Guillermo del Toro

With the numerous projects that Guillermo del Toro attaches himself to, it comes as a surprise to no one that he can't get to do all the things he wants. Luckily, what del Toro does do we know will be brilliant or at least fascinating to watch. With the rapidly approaching premiere date for Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (del Toro is a writer and producer on the film), the managing editor Ryan Turek at Shock Till You Drop got a chance to speak with the busy director on what's happening with Pacific Rim and Hellboy 3. As imagined, there's the good and bad news.

Spooky New Trailer for 'Don't Be Afraid of the Dark'

Horror movie fans are guaranteed to be delighted in knowing there's another super creepy flick on the docket this summer, especially since mastermind Guillermo Del Toro is involved.  The writer/director behind the Hellboy series, has written the script for this new Don't Be Afraid of the Dark reboot, which is not expected to disappoint.

On August 26th after most of the other summer blockbusters have come and gone along with the heat, director Troy Nixey's debut film will scare the shit out of all moviegoers courageous enough to see this fear inducing tale.
