Now that we've got our next Superman, Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder have begun their search for his counterpart in Lois Lane. A few actresses have already come in to read for the part, a few more have been asked to come in, and one has even screen tested.
Hit the jump to find out which actresses have landed on the film's shortlist and who, at this point, is the frontrunner for the role.
Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 7:28AM Kristen Bell says she would finance a Veronica Mars film herself if Warner Brothers would release the property. However, WB is not willing to produce a Veronica Mars movie because they don't think it is a commercially viable film for the masses.

To that, Bell counters "You already have 3 million who watched it every week hardcore fans that will see it - you can only build from there." She does have a point. It is well known that the show has attracted a loyal and dedicated fan base on the internet.

You Again Starring Kristen Bell, Odette Yustman, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Sigourney Weaver Directed by Andy Fickman Rated PG ![]() |
Andy Fickman brings situational comedies to a new low with the poor execution of what could have been a half-way-decent movie. You Again stars Kristen Bell as Marni Olsen, a now successful young woman after a tough run as the dorky girl in high school. While traveling home for her brother’s wedding, Marni discovers that her sister-in-law to be is none other than her high school tormentor, head cheerleader Joanna, played by Odette Yustman. Similarly, Marni’s mother, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, discovers that Joanna’s Aunt Mona, Sigourney Weaver, is her ex-best friend from high school. OK, so, hilarity ensues, right? Not so much.
Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 11:40AM I understood Star Wars coming back and even Indiana Jones to a certain extent. The last Rocky movie was a great way to end that series, and Toy Story 3 is up there with The Bourne Ultimatum among the past threequels ever. So, yeah, you can go home again.

Dimension Films has confirmed that Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell will appear in the upcoming SCREAM 4, which is currently shooting.
