Elvis' Granddaughter To TCB in 'Mad Max: Fury Road'

The King of Rock n' Roll had a daughter, Lisa Marie. She was most famously linked to Michael Jackson. Second-most famously, she wed Nicolas Cage. But her first marriage was 20 years ago, when Lisa Marie was only 20. She popped out a kid pretty early and now Riley Keough is an established model who is following the Rosie Huntington-Whiteley path.

Keough has just joined the cast of Mad Max: Fury Road, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It is not her first performance, however; Keough did have a role in The Runaways earlier this year, playing Dakota Fanning's sister. I didn't know it was her at the time, and she did OK. There are a few other movies that have secured her services, too, but nothing on this level. In Fury Road, Keough will play one of the "Five Wives," a group of women that Max (Tom Hardy) must protect from the bad guys. Zoe Kravitz, Teresa Palmer and Adelaide Clemens are three of the other wives. Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult round out the cast," The Reporter writes.

'Mad Max 4' Shooting in 3-D, Delayed Until Next Year?

Well, here's a development: Mad Max: Fury Road has been put on hold until next year, according to The Australian, leaving "several hundred crew without jobs." There's no official confirmation from the production company, though it's expected to come later this week.

George Miller's secretive film - which we most recently reported could be two movies shooting at once - has apparently been postponed because Fury Road and Furiosa being shot back-to-back created some casting and screenwriting conflicts, which is not too hard to believe.

'Furiosa': Yet Another 'Mad Max' Sequel Rumored

George Miller is returning to the apocalypse with Mad Max: Fury Road, but is he stopping there? TwitchFilm writes that the director is planning a Matrix-like back-to-back shoot of two Mad Max sequels, and that the fifth film in the series would be released shortly after Fury Road.

"The title already known to the public is Mad Max: Fury Road," writes Twitch, "and word is that Fury Road will be followed immediately by Mad Max: Furiosa. The two films will reportedly be shot back to back for rapid release."

Teresa Palmer Says She's Not In 'Mad Max 4'

Turns out Teresa Palmer, the lovely Aussie actress soon to be seen in The Sorcerer's Apprentice, won't be in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road. The post-apocalypse just lost some pretty.

Coming Soon quotes Palmer as saying, "I'm not [in it], actually," Palmer said, "That's just a rumor that has been on the internet." Hmm, sorry to dispute you, Teresa, but you've already commented on the rumor, and it wasn't exactly a firm denial of anything. In fact, they only way to interpret it is that you had a role but signed a non-disclosure agreement or something.

Charlize Theron Sort Of Talks About 'Mad Max 4'

OK, so now we know this much about Mad Max: Fury Road: Life beyond Thunderdome will definitely include Charlize Theron.

The film, shooting soon and headed for a 2011 release, has been very secretive about what roles people might be playing but Theron, Theresa Palmer (from the upcoming Sorcerer's Apprentice) and Tom Hardy (Bronson) have been strongly hinted for George Miller's long-awaited sequel. Or prequel. Or whatever. But there's been no official comment from the studio or Miller, or really even the stars. Now Theron tells MTV that she's excited to join the franchise...but that's about it. Little victories. On the plus side, she looks really good in the video, which I know is hard to accept.
