Occupy Wall Street Protesters To Appear in 'The Dark Knight Rises'?

If that headline isn't enough to make you scratch your head, I don't know what else Hollywood can do to capitalize on a historic event.  As it may seem to those not engaging in the protests, I doubt they'd want to be featured in a mega-million dollar production of a Hollywood comic book action film.  The Dark Knight Rises, starring Christian Bale, may move production to New York in order to take advantage of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Marion Cotillard Says Her 'Dark Knight Rises' Role Isn't from the Comics?

The lovely Marion Cotillard with some other peopleMore rumors/news from the wide world of Batman, as Marion Cotillard claims her character, Miranda Tate (or assumed villain Talia al Ghul) in The Dark Knight Rises isn't from the pages of comic.  MTV interviewed, Cotillard at the premiere of Steven Soderbergh's Contagion and asked about her character in the third and final Batman film, and the rumors involving the alleged Miranda Tate alias cover for Talia al Ghul.

New 'Contagion' One-Sheet Is Very Blah!

Contagion is going to be an awesome film.  I know I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch because I have been disappointed before. *Ahem* Watchmen.  But Contagion has everything, a fantastical cast, a great director, and a story that seems solid and a bit scary.  Think of it as "a zombie movie without zombies" movie.  But I can't help but to feel disappointed everytime a new poster comes out.

Soon to grace a theater near you is Steven Soderbergh's thriller Contagion. Pumping up the virus-driven plot of many thrillers that have passed before, with this excellent cast backed by Soderbergh’s directing is looking to be one of the better films of the dwindling summer season transitioning into Oscar season. James Gray Nets Joaquin Phoenix & Marion Cotillard for 'Low Life'. Jeremy Renner Next?

James Gray's next film Low Life is currently on the fast track to production town and has landed him one of Hollywood's hottest actresses in Marion Cotillard.  The film also reunites the writer/director with one of his favorite actors in bounce back candidate Joaquin Phoenix (pictured below w/Gray), who has starred in 3 of his 4 feature films (We Own the Night, Two Lovers and The Yards).

Deadline also reports that highly-sought after actor Jeremy Renner is currently in negotiations to join Phoenix and Cotillard as the third lead in the period piece about a woman immigrate from Poland (Cotillard) who sails to the U.S. in search of the American dream.
