New 'Rock of Ages' Trailer and Poster

Tom Cruise, a man that continues to defy actors boundaries even at the age of 50.  Seeing him perform his own stunts (at least for the most part) on Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building in the upcoming IMAX release of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and then seeing him rock out his charisma as an 80s rocker is beyond me.  We have the new trailer and poster for Rock of Ages, directed by Adam Shankman which stars a very packed lineup of known actors.

Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' to Become a Feature Film?

The King of Pop still lives on in the hearts of many, including 'This Is It' director Kenny Ortega, who is currently shopping the idea of a full-length feature film around involving the late Michael Jackson, according to Deadline New York.  Ortega's plan is to make a film inspired by the popular song 'Thriller' , though it's still unknown whether it will be based directly off of the classic music video.

It is reported that Ortega will direct, while writer Jeremy Garelick will pen the script.  Garelick is probably best known for writing the script of 'The Break Up' , which was a movie I enjoyed, yet I've never met anyone else who felt the same.

Emma Thompson: Audrey Hepburn Couldn't Act

I'm all for honesty, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone say this about Audrey Hepburn before, so I hope Emma Thompson really means it and isn't just saying it to get a rise out of people.

Thompson is, of course, one of the more singularly talented film and theatrical performers we have. She's a blisteringly good actress, adept at just about everything as well as being an Oscar-winning screenwriter. And when the subject of her new rewrite of My Fair Lady was broached during press rounds for Nanny McPhee Returns, Thompson shot holes in the Audrey Hepburn mystique. "I was thrilled to be asked to do it because, having a look at it, I thought that there needs to be a new version. I'm not hugely fond of the film. I find Audrey Hepburn fantastically twee," Thompson said.
