Ready For 'Die Hard 6'? No? Then You May Not Like What You're About to Read

I wasn’t completely turned off by A Good Day to Die Hard like pretty much everyone else was.  Don’t get me wrong, the movie was far from average, but it entertained me.  And would you believe the movie was a financial success, thanks to $235 million from foreign markets, the film ended up making $302 million dollars.  Yeah, you read that correctly.  So despite the proclamation that the series is dead, all that money has some thinking it’s time for more Die Hard.  Let the head shaking begin in 5,4,3,2,1…

Zach Braff Wants You...To Help Kick Start His New Movie

Remember when Garden State came out, back in 2004?  Zach Braff, who was already on the semi-popular Scrubs, was thrust into the forefront of hipsterdom.  Garden State became the go to indie movie, with the hip soundtrack; the new lusted after manic pixie dream girl (Natalie Portman) and the now suddenly cool auteur.  Since then Braff has kinda kept a low profile and Garden State isn’t the hip movie it once was. But Braff is finally working on his follow up: Wish I Was Here.  Oh, and he’d like you to pay for it.

'Vacation' Reboot Finds the Holiday Road Is Closed Indefinitely

I'm hot and cold when it comes to remakes/reboots/re-imaginings.  I can be quick to judge, and it’s mostly negative when I hear that another film getting updated.  But sometimes my quick dismissal takes a turn for the better and I start to see that it may not be a bad idea.  Oh, wait a tick, the newly proposed Vacation movie with Ed Helms is more like a sequel.  I’m totally okay with that.  I totally on board with this idea.  Wait, the movie is getting delayed indefinitely?  I don’t like that.

Justin Lin Gives The Deuces to 'Fast and Furious 7' and Leaves Some Mighty Big Shoes To Fill

I am an unabashed fan of the Fast and Furious films.  Films 2 and 3, not so much, but 4 and 5 are the cats meow (to quote a phrase my Grandma wouldn’t even use).  A big reason for my fandom and the series bucking all trends by actually getting better with each new movie is director Justin Lin, who’s actually been with the series since Tokyo Drift.  But all good things must come to an end boys and girls and Lin is saying goodbye.  Is it time to hit the panic button yet?

'Jack the Giant Slayer' Becomes Jack the Deficit Maker for Warner Bros

And just like that, the money goes..POOF...

I’m sure everyone remembers all the talk last year about the failure of John Carter right?  Carter made about $73 million here in the U.S and $209 million overseas.  But due to a huge budget and marketing, the movie lost anywhere from $150 million to $200 million…ouch.  But don’t worry John Carter, there is a new box office deficit maker in town and his name is Jack the Giant Slayer.   That’s right boys and girls, your favorite Giant Slayer ended up only slaying the profits of Warner Bros…ouch.
