When you’re reading this I hope it’s from your smart phone as you should already be standing in line for the new movie, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.  Yeah, boys and girls, this Friday, it’s on!   Wait, what?   No, I’m not lying.  There is a new Ghost Rider movie coming in 4 days.  No, Nic Cage movies aren’t going straight to DVD…yet. 

Nic Cage, or maybe it’s John Travolta, is back as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider.

Kaufman Casts Paul Reubens, Elizabeth Banks & Catherine Keener in 'Frank or Francis'

Described as a musical satire that takes on Hollywood, Charlie Kaufman (Synecdoche, New York) has been casting a whole bunch of actors for his latest film Frank or Francis.  The latest to join are Paul Reubens, Elizabeth Banks and Catherine Keener.  Other actors already signed include Steve Carell, Jack Black, Nicolas Cage and Kevin Kline.

Here’s a quick take on Frank or Francis:

The story centers on a contentious dispute between Frank, an intellectual film director (Carell) and Francis, an online blogger (Black) who still lives with his parents and who delights in attacking the man’s films.

New Trailer for ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance’

You can tell when it’s a slow news day here at Get the Big Picture when we report the latest dreck  that is Nicholas Cage’s (Drive Angry) plummeting career.  Today we have been graced with the release of the updated trailer for Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance.  Once again Cage portrays Johnny Blaze, the devil’s bounty hunter on earth, who this time is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church.

Cast Lined Up for Charlie Kaufman's 'Frank or Francis'

Charlie Kaufman's next film Frank or Francis will focus on a familiar topic covered in his previous films; writing.  Nicolas Cage played a screenwriter in Adaptation, and now Cage with host of other stars will highlight a film based on internet film critics.  Other than the reunion with Cage, Frank or Francis will also include Steve Carell, Jack Black with Kevin Kline expected to fill two roles in the film, according to Variety.

Nicolas Cage In New 'Seeking Justice' Trailer

What better reason to write about Nicolas Cage than a new feature trailer that starring the absolutely mind-boggling actor?  None, that's what I say even if GTBP wrote about it the other day.  This one is going to be a little different since I'll be looking at everything that's wrong with this trailer.  Clearly, some higher power keeps granting us entertainment website (and those sometimes pesky bloggers) baffling premise-films from Nic Cage in order to work his acting magic.  See the trailer for Seeking Justice after the jump.
