Me neither but that's not the case with Paramount as they have hired Alec Burg and David Mandel to write a draft for a film based on the second most watched video on YouTube last year. Top Gun was one of my favorite movies as a kid, which makes it funny to see the sequel now finally being developed 100 years later. If you have the need for speed, then you'll be glad to know Top Gun 2 is on the fast track. Variety reported over the weekend that Paramount has hired X-Men: First Class writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz to write the screenplay for this sequel, by title only.

I remember sleeping with one eye open the next week and half after watching it. However, when Paramount released the sequel, I was excited and rushed to see the film hoping to get scared all over again.
Unfortunately, that feeling never returned. Some viral clips surfaced on the internet for the third film, Paranormal Activity 3.

Paramount is known for doing a viral marketing campaign for its Paranormal Activity films. The term "viral" means that the advertising media spreads like an epidemic, causing a surge in ticket sales opening weeked. It worked last year with Paranormal Activity 2 and the year before that with Paranormal Activity. Now, Shock Till You Drop has released a promotional video sent to them by Paramount for the Henry Joost/ Ariel Schulman directed third film. Get this -- they recieved the clip on a VHS accompanied with a VCR. Genius.

In the wake of the Licensing Internation Expo opening in Las Vegas on Wednesday June 15, fanboys are going to be seeing a lot creative materials for their anticipated film and/or franchise. Collider does clarify that these "images aren’t official marketing materials, these are some of the biggest properties around, so it’s pretty cool to get a look at some title/logo work." As seen above with next summer's hotly anticipated The Dark Knight Rises from director Christopher Nolan.
