Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener) has signed on to join fellow Oscar winner Colin Firth (The King’s Speech) in Jonathan Teplitzky’s adaptation of Eric Lomax’s World War II biography, The Railway Man. Lomax’s story focuses on two distinct periods of his life. The first part relates the torture the young Scotsman suffered as a Japanese prisoner-of-war aboard Burma’s infamous “Death Railway” and then his post-war struggles to find inner peace and forgiveness.
