New 'Resident Evil: Retribution' Trailer & First Image

Alice's next adventure coming in 3D...again

Today we've got the new trailer and pic (above) for newest the Resident Evil installment, Retribution.  Best of all we'll see the lovely Milla Jovovich kicking Umbrella Corp. butt in 3D again in, if I'm not mistaken the fourth Resident Evil film (meaning I'm two films behind).  Retribution comes our way this fall, September 14, 2012 to be exact.

The trailer opens in traditional Resident Evil satire, in the form of a commercial where people all over the globe say, "My name is so and so and this is my world" as they stand in front of familiar landmark.

2011, Where's All The "Horror"?

Will Scream 4 be one of the selected few horror movies released in 2011?

Earlier this month, there was an article posted on Badass Digest that tackled the lack of horror films and I wish to elaborate on the statement that was made conerning this year's poor showing. One has to wonder why movie audiences haven't seen a truly traditional horror movie that has received large media attention or even had a successful box-office presence. I could list all the "horror films" that have been released this year but, they all utilized facets of the horror genre as part of the whole.

Jovovich announces plans for 'Resident Evil 5'

After Resident Evil: Afterlife hauled in $27.7 million this weekend, earning the franchise a first place opening worldwide for the first time ever, it's no surprise Resident Evil 5 is already in the works.

Speaking with New York Magazine, Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich said, "It's the biggest movie in the franchise. So we're definitely going to make another one."

Milla Jovovich returns to us in all the back-flipping, gun-toting, butt-kicking glory that is Alice in the fourth installment of the Resident Evil franchise: Afterlife 3D.  The story picks up where Extinction left us, inside the Umbrella Corporation, with an impressive, high-octane, battle scene that dares you to try and get too much of the lovely Ms. Jovovich. From there, the mission continues through a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled world to find and save the remaining uninfected members of the human race and reach the illusive “Arcadia”.
