Monday, November 14, 2011 at 12:44PM 'Immortals' Director Wants to Do a Samurai Jack Movie

India-born director Tarsem Singh is probably on cloud nine right now, as its been reported that his stylized ancient Greek war film Immortals has opened first against the the newest Adam Sandler "comedy" and the surprisingly good Shrek spin-off Puss in Boots. I imagine that his options for what to do in the future have been broadened quite a bit, and certain comments he's made towards The Hollywood Reporter tells us that this future might include a live action version of Samurai Jack, a Cartoon Network hit that ran from 2001-2004.
