Have you ever heard the amusing phrase "I went to a Fight and a Hockey game broke out"?  If so, that's exactly what you can expect to see in the new comedy Goon starring Seann William Scott as Doug "Thug" Glatt, a struggling dude who is offered a contract to play minor league hockey solely based on his ability to beat the shit out of his opponents.

Doug quickly earns a reputation as team tough guy, until he catches the attention of the league's most notorious, intimidating enforcer Ross "The Boss" Rhea played by Liev Schreiber.

See the Gang Return to High School in New 'American Reunion' Pics

The final American Pie installment, American Reunion is on the way and will be in theaters on April 6, 2012.  The gang of Jim (Jason Biggs), Band geek/Mrs. Jim (Alyson Hannigan), Stifler (Seann William Scott), Shit Break (Eddie Kaye Thomas), Oz (Chris Klein), Tara Reid, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Mena Suvari return to the big screen for their high school reunion.  Am I correct to assume Jim's dad (Eugene Levy) will also be there?

Hockey Fights Movie 'Goon' Gets Distributor & New Trailer

Last week we had the poster above of Seann William Scott in the new hockey/fights on the ice movie Goon.  The comedy written by Evan Goldberg (Pineapple Express, Superbad) and Jay Baruchel just nailed a distribution deal with Magnet, and also released the film's first trailer.  Where else did this deal go down but at the Toronto International Film Festival, which has been a hot bed for movie news as of late.

Bloody, Toothless Smiles Grace Posters for Hockey Movie 'Goon'

Finally we have a hockey inspired movie that's less about the sport and more about brawling on the ice, plus it stars the hilarious Seann William Scott.  In the new comedy Goon, a bouncer (Scott, I assume) leads a team of misfit hockey players to a successful run in a semi-pro/minor league by pummeling everything that stands in his way.

Photo Booth Shenanigans in The 'American Reunion' Teaser Trailer

It seems like just yesterday, those teenagers from American Pie were betting on which one of them would get laid first.  The gang all partied it up at Stifler's (Sean William Scott) beach house post-high school in the sequel, and of course Shit Break (Eddie Kaye Thomas) banged Stifler's mom again.  Then Jim (Jason Biggs) and the band camp girl (Alyson Hannigan) got married.  And Jim's dad Eugene Levy was there for all of it.

Now the whole gang is back for American Reunion, and we've got the first teaser trailer to prove it.
