'Avatar' Sex Scene Will Be Included on the DVD

Bown chicka wown wown! We're going to get blue alien sex on the unrated Avatar DVD. The scene already exists, but James Cameron said recently it had to get the axe. "We had it in and we cut it out," Cameron told reporters. "So that will be something for the special edition DVD, if you want to see how they have sex."

Zoe Saldana went into more detail, telling ReelzChannel how the birds and the bees works with the Na'vis little USB cable/dreadlock thing.

"If you sync to your banshee and you’re syncing to a tree, why not sync into a person? I almost feel like you’ll have the most amazing orgasm, I guess. It was a very funny scene to shoot because there were so many technical things that sometimes you have to keep in mind that paying attention to all those might disrupt the fluidity of how a scene is supposed to take place."

Mila Kunis Talks 'Black Swan,' Portman Love Scene

Mila Kunis is featured in a stylish photoshoot and blah blah personality feature in Blackbook, and, you know, you get pictures of Mila Kunis - which is never a bad bargain - and she talks more about Black Swan than we'd heard before, including that scene with Natalie Portman.

“I just skipped about 10 years of ballerina training and started as if I’m a professional,” Kunis says of her preparation for Black Swan. “Every day, I tore the ligaments in my calves and I would think, What am I doing to myself?” Well, as an actress, you're getting to work with Darren Aronofsky and it's without question her biggest professional moment so far. “It’s like a real-life version of the third act of Swan Lake,” she says of the film's story, which features Kunis as a rival to dancer Natalie Portman.

Portman Calls 'Black Swan' Sex Scene "Extreme"

We've gotten plenty of traffic here at The Big Picture thanks to the story alleging that Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis will have mad sapphic sex in Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan, so thanks for the hits. Portman recently talked to V magazine about the film and the scene, and while she makes a semantics argument against what's been reported, Natalie is certainly not denying it.

"It's not raunchy - it's extreme," she said. I'm sure there's a difference, if only qualitatively. The tone of the profile makes me think that the extreme scene will involve nudity. Both Portman and Kunis have done nude scenes before, Portman in the short Hotel Chevalier and Kunis in some direct-to-video thing, but now Portman says she's more open to that possibility than she would have been earlier in her career. "Previously I was figuring out my own sexual identity, likes and dislikes and all that stuff, and it's weird to be doing stuff on film as you're figuring it out," she said. "Also, being a sexual object when you're a kid is really uncomfortable." Well, yes. There's that.

Watch 'The Last Tango in Paris' on Hulu

Here's something I was surprised to see: You can watch The Last Tango in Paris on Hulu. Quite possibly the most disputed sexual drama ever made, Last Tango stars Marlon Brando as an American businessman coping with the suicide of his wife when he meets a young woman in Paris with whom he shares an uncontrollable attraction. The couple begins a sexual relationship, never allowing themselves to develop things beyond the purely physical, and never even using their names. It's all very 1973. But the film is more known for its extremely frank sex scenes than it is Brando's performance or even Bernardo Bertolucci's direction. In fact, by today's standards the sex still warrants an NC-17 rating. Beyond the mere nature of the scenes, however, Last Tango is an important film in terms of loosening restrictions on what could and could not be shown in a major motion picture. And now you can watch it online for free.

'Out of Sight' Tops List of Sexiest Movies

You can tell I took a cross-country flight this weekend by my use of this phrase: "So I read a copy of Entertainment Weekly the other day..."

I mean, sure, I'll pick it up from time to time, but to read it cover to cover (minus the inane letters) is not something I like to do. I'd rather read the SkyMall catalog. But someone had left it on the plane, and the cover was pretty intriguing: The 50 Sexiest Movies Ever. Now that's saying a lot.I won't recap the entire list, because like all lists, this is entirely subjective, and because they couldn't think of four movies sexier than #47, Kissing Jessica Stein.
