'Transformers 4' & 5 May Shoot Back to Back, Minus LaBeouf

More Transformers Coming, Less Sam Witwicky

Variety reported yesterday, Transformers director Michael Bay, his chum Steven Spielberg and Hasbro were in talks trying to make a Transformers 4 happen.  They're actually pushing for two more films to be made with the plan of shooting them back-to-back, Pirates of the Carribean style.  Of course, the franchises' non-robotic star, Shia LaBeouf will not be returning with his Auto-Bot amigos for these future installments.

I believe LaBeouf made it clear, before Transformers Dark of the Moon was even in theaters that he wouldn't be back as Sam Witwicky.

Does Shia Labeouf Have a Future in Directing? We'll See...

Just to answer my own question today, I wanted to see what this whole Shia Labeouf and Marilyn Manson link was all about.  Turns out Labeouf got behind the camera to direct Manson's new video "Born Villain", which I've included below.

I thought it would be fun to watch the video, which I can safely say is pretty fucked up even by Manson's own usual standards.  It's kinda like watching a David Lynch movie, a lot of bizarre stuff happening.

Shia LaBeouf Joins Robert Redford's 'The Company You Keep'

I've always liked Shia LaBeouf as an actor (his movies are a different story), even though in some recent interviews he comes off as a bit of a dickhead, for lack of a better word.  He wants to make great films and his next project is a damn good start in that direction.  Deadline reports the young actor has just landed the lead role in Robert Redford's next political drama The Company You Keep.

Fight Breaks Out Between Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy on 'Wettest County in the World' Set

Shia LaBeouf can't win in a fight against Tom Hardy, be real.

No, that isn't some attention grabbing headline to talk about a fight that is in the script and yeah, I know we normally don't cover gossip and celebrity dirt but this was something that happened on the set which might affect the on-screen chemistry between the lead actors.  This was an all out brawl that supposedly happened on the set between two actors who hate each other.  Talking to Details Magazine, the big mouthed actor Shia LaBeouf claims that the two got into it after a bad joke on the set of Wettest County in the World and that he won the fight.  After the fight, LaBeouf says that Tom Hardy "never did that roughhouse stuff with me again."  But thats not the only co-star he doesn't get along with.

Shia LaBeouf Says No to Future 'Transformers' Sequel and he has "Nothing to Contribute"

Shia LaBeouf is ready to move on.  I guess he doesn't want to be forever known as the guy in the Tranformers films but I think it's always good to be known for something that nothing at all.  Harrison Ford is still known to this day as the guy in Indiana Jones despite the fact that he's been in a ton of other great films.  I personally don't think it's a bad thing.  It's certainly better than doing a bunch of $50 million at the box films where only your hardcore fans know who you are.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Transformers star Shia Labeouf was asked if there will be sequels to the franchise and if he will star in them.  Here is what he had to say:
