'Red Lights' Trailer Explores More Paranormal Activity

We saw Matt Damon play a real psychic in Clint Eastwood's Hereafter, now we see the opposite side of the spectrum with Red Lights.  Sigourney Weaver and Cillian Murphy star as a psychologist and her assistant who study the paranormal, specifically investigating individuals with genuine psychic abilities as opposed to those who are frauds.  When Robert De Niro comes into a play as world renowed psychic, Murphy's character, despite the pleas from his boss not to, plans to uncover the truth about this man.

Sigourney Weaver Reveals 'Avatar 2' & 'Ghostbusters 3' Plot Points

James Cameron favorite, Avatar star Sigourney Weaver created a stir over the weekend with talk about two anticipated sequels.  The actress is currently making the interview rounds for the Taylor Lautner action film Abduction, and revealed major plot points from the future Avatar sequels and Ghostbusters 3.

Is it any surprise reporters are asking Weaver about future installments of blockbuster films instead of the awful-looking Abduction?  Not from where I'm sitting.

Sigourney Weaver Plants 'Alien 5' Seed, Sort of.

 

When I first saw the article for which this is based so many things popped into my head, but first, sadly, Sigourney Weaver basically said that she would love to reprise the role of Ripley, it just doesn't seem possible.  One of the greatest action heroes of all-time admittedly retired.

James Cameron Talks 'Avatar 2 & 3,' 'Cleopatra,' and More

That's right, James Cameron is going Lord of the Rings on us. He plans on filming Avatar 2 and 3 simultaneously, and release them a year apart. While that's good news for Avatar fans, there's no word on when he plans to begin production. And I have to say, I'm impressed. Nearly a year after release and the movie is still releasing footage and even more DVD releases. In case you missed it, our own Olivia Briggs reported recently on a deleted scene that was definitely best left deleted. But my point still stands.

 

With Cleopatra rumors circulating around the web, and the upcomming DVD release of Avatar's Extended Collector's Edition, Mr. Cameron seems to have decided to add to the press...

New Trailer for Simon Pegg's 'Paul'

The dynamic duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are back together again, this time for the sci-fi comedy 'Paul'.

You may remember these two hilarious Brits from the comedies 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz'.  However, instead of fighting zombies or solving a murder mystery, they play a pair of sci-fi/comic book geeks that discover an alien outside Area-51 during a road trip. 

The alien they encounter, 'Paul', who is voiced by Seth Rogen has crashed his ship and needs their help.  The movie also stars the underrated Jason Bateman , Sigourney Weaver and one of my favorite comedic actresses in Kristen Wiig.
