First Look at Summer Glau on 'Dollhouse'

After I wrote last weekend that Dollhouse was on the ropes, two things happened. The first is that this past Friday, the show was up over 20%. That'd be fantastic if Dollhouse weren't the lowest-rated scripted drama on TV or if it wasn't coming off its lowest ratings ever, but even still, it's OK news.

The second was a Tweet I received wondering when Summer Glau, late of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, was going to do her guest spot on Dollhouse, and the answer is that it's happening in a couple of episodes. Here's a look at Glau on the set from Entertainment Weekly (by way of Dollverse). Not the best resolution, but you'll take it and like it.

A 'Sarah Connor Chronicles' Movie a Possibility?

Two years was all Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles could manage on Fox. The network pulled the plug on the series in May after it failed to ever really capitalize on a post-Super Bowl debut in 2008.

But that doesn't mean the alternate Terminator storyline is done. Thomas Dekker talked to The TV Addict about possbilities to keep the story going. "They've spoken about doing a TV movie.Well, not a TV movie, but kind of like a direct-to-DVD movie," Decker said. As exciting as that is to fans of the show, there's a major reason such a movie may not happen.

Fox Officially Terminates 'Sarah Connor'

Among the many TV shake-ups occurring this weekend is the news that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been canceled by Fox. We reported that it was a strong possibility last month, but with Fox unveiling its new prime time schedule, the move became official. However, Fox is keeping the equally low-rated Dollhouse for another season.

Other shows not returning next season are The Unusuals on ABC and CBS' Without a Trace, while a few shows have been rescued from the fire, like Chuck on NBC, Samantha Who? on ABC (which might become a more traditional multi-camera/studio audience comedy, midseason pick-ups Castle and Southland, and Medium, which is one of several shows that might wind up at a new network as the summer brings new programming prospects. Possible shows on the move: My Name is Earl and The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Fox Reportedly Terminates 'Sarah Connor'

It appears that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will get the axe after two seasons on Fox. "It's done," a source tells Entertainment Weekly. "Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks."

Another insider shovels just as much dirt: "Consider it canceled." Fox, on the other hand, says no decision has been made on the fate of the show, which aired its season (and possibly series) finale last Friday. We'll know for sure no later than May 18th, when Fox unveils its Fall 2009 schedule, but don't bet on the ratings-troubled sci-fi show coming back for a third season.
