New Red-Band Trailer for 'The Thing'

The new Thing arrives in theaters soon (October 14th), so why all the new trailers and clips?  Beats me.  Fortunately, today's trailer is a Red band, which is always a more accurate preview of an upcoming movie.

In the prequel to John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays a paleontologist who travels the globe, only to end up in a barren region.

*Spoiler Alert* New TV Spot For 'The Thing' Very Revealing

If you like to go into a movie fresh, as with no prior knowledge of the film, do not watch this TV spot for the new Thing prequel/remake.  It's good to reveal a broad outline of the plot for the viewer, but apparently the folks behind this production didn't get that memo.

This Thing is not be confused with John Carpenter's The Thing, which starred Kurt Russell or the original Thing.

Creepy New Clip from 'The Thing' Remake

The upcoming remake of John Carpenter's cult classic The Thing, also known as The Thing has released a creepy new clip that showed up on MTV today.  It provides a first, albeit brief look at the aliens that will wreak havoc on our Antartic scientists.  Plus, one of my favorite characters from Lost, Mr. Echo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) is the main man in the clip, which includes a quick scare from Joel Edgerton.

'The Thing' Trailer

I bought The Thing on blu-ray about two months ago when Best Buy was selling it for ten dollars.  I bought with the strong intention of watching it a few days later on Saturday night.  I have gone nineteen years without the film being spoiled, a masterful feat unheard of in this day and age of the internet world.  Then my best friend decided to spoil the entire movie for me.  With that said, the first trailer for the 'Prequel' film, The Thing has just hit the internet.  

I gave you that shpeel because I decided to bring you this article from fresh eyes and a fresh mind.

Movie Synopsis:
