I like Will Ferrell.  I like him so much that I would make him a mixtape, open the car door for him and if he asked, I’d go see Nickelback with him…well… maybe not Nickelback.  I don’t think I could ever like someone that much.   But I have yet to grow despondent on Mr. Ferrell and I am more than ok with that. Will Ferrell's 'Casa de mi Padre' Trailers

The funniest movie star in Hollywood will soon dominate the foreign comedy department too.  We can see some of the results now with a new trailer for Will Ferrell's Spanish language movie Casa de mi Padre.  In typical GTBP 2-for-1 fashion, I've included the first trailer for the film since the newest one is only a 30-second teaser.

Matt Piedmont (Funny or Die, SNL) directs Ferrell as Armando Alvarez, a man who is trying to save his family's farm in Mexico amid a war with a local drug lord.

Jason Sudeikis in For 'Dog Fight' With Ferrell & Galifianakis

SNL stand out Jason Sudeikis is scooping up big screen comedies to appear in left and right, and if you haven't seen Horrible Bosses yet...get on it.  Sudeikis has another promising role lined up in the political comedy Dog Fight, starring Will Ferrell (funniest man in movies) and Zach Galifianakis as two warring political rivals up for the same small South Carolina congressional chair.

The Jay Roach (Meet the Parents, Austin Powers) film recently added actresses Katherine LaNasa and Sarah Baker for, like Sudeikis, unspecified roles.

Will Ferrell & Matthew McConaughey Reprise Roles in 'Eastbound and Down' Season 3

Will Ferrell and Matthew McConaughey will appear once more in what will likely be Eastbound and Down's third and final season on HBO.  Kenny Powers (Danny McBride) will also welcome new key characters to the fold this season, played by Jason Sudeikis and Ike Barinholtz (Mad TV).

At the end of season 2, Kenny Powers was headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for a minor league baseball tryout, on an offer extended by an MLB scout (McConaughey).

Will Ferrell & Adam McKay Together Again for New Comedy 'Swear to God'

Most of Will Ferrell's best comedies have come while working with director Adam McKay and vice versa.  Deadline reports, the pair will team up again for the new comedy, Swear to God, pitched by Due Date writers Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland.  Ferrell is attached to headline the movie with Mckay serving as the producer in this one.

Swear to God is being dubbed "a buddy comedy in which Ferrell plays a narcissistic hedge fund manager who thinks he has seen God."
