How about this for a comedy tandem: Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. Variety says that a new action comedy directed by Adam McKay is a hot commodity being shopped to studios to fill gaps in their 2010 schedules. Another movie that is making its way around town is a drama by Bourne Ultimatum co-writer George Nolfi that would star Matt Damon.

While I certainly think there's room for both, I'm more intrigued on the surface by B Team, the action comedy with Ferrell and Wahlberg playing cops. I mean, that's a strange dynamic. Could you imagine if it's Semi-Pro meets The Departed?

Seriously, I just don't know what form that would take.
