Back around the time that Forgetting Sarah Marshall came out, Jason Segel, who co-wrote and starred in the film, was announced as the new writer for the first theatrically released Muppet movie in over 10 years. Disney has finally unveiled the name of the upcoming film, which borrows from the title of an unproduced project developed by Jim Henson back in the mid-1980s.

The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made had a different story when Henson was working on it than what Segel has described in the past year-and-a-half. The original idea focued on Gonzo directing a movie and wasting his budget so quickly that when it came time to actually shoot it, well, it was duct-taped together.
